Elaine M. Kuzmeskus, director of the New England School of Metaphysics, is a nationally known Spiritualist medium. During her many years of mediumship, she has conducted several well-publicized séances, including the official Houdini séance as well as séances at the Mark Twain House and Long Wharf Theater. She is the author of nine books on metaphysics including The Art of MediumshipThe Medium Who Baffled Houdini, and her biography, The Making of a Medium. She has also written articles for Fate Magazine. For the past 20 years, Elaine has been a popular guest on radio programs such as Coast to Coast with George Noory, We Don’t Die, and The Paranormal View; as well as television programs, including Better Connecticut, Practical Talk Time, and the PBS special, "Things That Go Bump in the Night.”
