Amy Oxford is the founder of the Oxford Rug Hooking School and is an internationally renowned instructor. She is the inventor, manufacturer, and distributor of the Oxford Punch Needle, and her teacher certification program has over the past three decades resulted in over 130 Oxford Certified Instructors in the US, Canada, the UK, Europe, the UAE, and Japan. Amy has been licensed by the Shelburne Museum to make adaptations of their antique rugs and has helped catalog the museum’s renowned collection of historic hooked rugs. She is the author of six previous books, including the bestselling Punch Needle Rug Hooking: Your Complete Resource to Learn & Love the Craft. She lives in Cornwall, Vermont.

Louise Kulp is a painter, fiber artist, and art educator and in 2018 earned certification as an Advanced Oxford Instructor with a focus on special techniques. Louise has taught the joy of punch needle rug hooking to hundreds of students in many different settings, from women in a grief support group in rural Maine to second graders in an after-school program in the Bronx. She lives in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
